Four Neosho High School students, from left, sophomore Jack Briggs, sophomore Baylee Scribner, senior Zack Grant and senior Kristlyn Bridgman make their debut at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts while performing with the highly select honor choirs for the Southwest division of the American Choral Directors Association. The center is home to the Kansas City Symphony and Symphony Chorus, Lyric Opera, the Kansas City Ballet and many professional touring shows. Students were selected by audition in the fall and are from a seven-state region that includes Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. The selected students spent March 7 through 10 in Kansas City to rehearse and perform under the direction of internationally renowned conductors, composers and music educators.
