The Neosho School District board of education will vote to accept the results of the April 5 election to open Monday’s 7 p.m. school board meeting in the administrative center, 418 Fairgrounds Road.

The Neosho School District board of education will vote to accept the results of the April 5 election to open Monday’s 7 p.m. school board meeting in the administrative center, 418 Fairgrounds Road.
The oath of office will be given to newly elected member Stuart Puckett and to Jonathan Russell, who was re-elected to another three-year term. The current board will be dissolved so the new board can elect a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.
Action items include a board vote of an insurance committee recommendation and on junior high construction alternates.
The consent agenda, approved without discussion, includes approval of Penmac services and summer capital protects, the acceptance of resignations, employment of personnel, treasurer’s report, cash journal and student attendance report.
Recognitions will be accorded the student of the month, employees of the month and patron of the month, with special reports from the business program and building and grounds.
The board will move into closed session to consider personnel and student issues.
