A Joplin woman arrested Friday in Newton County on a variety of charges has been transferred to Carthage, where she was wanted by police on a misdemeanor charge.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Ashley J. Horstkamp, 31, at 5:28 p.m. for driving while intoxicated, no valid driver’s license, speeding, no seatbelt and the Carthage warrant for FTA possession of drug paraphernalia. She had been held on bond in the Newton County Jail before being transferred, a jail official reported.
The highway patrol jailed a Goodman man in McDonald County after his arrest at 11 a.m. Friday. Jamie M. Boydston, 43, was held with no bond on a felony fugitive warrant from Little River County, Ark., on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
