BOLIVAR — The Neosho 4x200 relay team of Nathan Lewis, Ryan Greenstreet, Tanner Mitchell and Kyle Goff will be headed to Jefferson City.
Lewis, Greenstreet, Mitchell and Goff placed third with a time of 1 minutes, 30.73 seconds and the top four at sectionals qualify for the state meet.
This result highlighted Neosho's day at the Class 4, Sectional 3 meet Saturday at Southwest Baptist University.
Carl Junction's Weston Wendt, Zachary Taylor, Lucas Berliew and Aaron Ludders won the 4x200 in 1:27.89, running the lone sub-1:30.00 time.
Neosho's school record owning 4x100 of Lewis, Greenstreet, Payton Klier and Goff just missed out on state, placing fifth in 43.86. Carl Junction's relay team, the same one that won the 4x200, took first in 42.63. Fourth place Camdenton finished .35 ahead of the Wildcats, recording a 43.51.
Likewise, Neosho's 4x400 of Lewis, Klier, Mitchell and Klier missed on state, placing fifth in 3:27.94. However, this time, it was even closer for the Wildcats, just .06 behind fourth place Rolla. Union posted a winning time of 3:26.87.
Greenstreet punched his individual ticket to state in the 300 hurdles, his 40.94 time good for fourth. Union's Ryan Schumaker won the race in 38.69.
Goff finished sixth in the long jump with a mark of 41 feet, 10 inches. Webb City's Tatum Smith placed fourth at 42-7.
Matt Brumback placed seventh in the 110 hurdles in 16.31. Deadmond won in 14.39 and Helias Catholic's Malik Davis took fourth in 15.77.
McDonald County's Cole Cooper finished seventh in the pole vault at 12-0. Marshfield's Justin Kanengieter won the event at 14-3.
On the girls side, Neosho's Skyelar Long placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 35-2 1/2. Helias Catholic's Emma Albertson won at 40-7 1/2.
Madison Flynn and Madyson Reiboldt finished seventh and eighth, respectively, in the triple jump at 32-5 1/2 and 32-1/2. Carthage standout Kimberly Teed won the event with a mark of 37-6 1/2.
McDonald County's Emily High finished sixth in the 1,600 in 5:32.77, an event in which she established a school record in earlier this season.

East Newton, Seneca girls finish in top 10
ELDON —The East Newton and Seneca girls finished sixth and ninth, respectively, with 44 and 32 points at the Class 3, Sectional 3 meet on Saturday.
Emily Sorrell placed third in the 1,600 in 5:23.31. St. James' Parker Fane and Leslie Perona finished 1-2 in 5:18.15 and 5:19.09. Kinsey Sorrell just missed qualifying in fifth in 5:36.97.
Emily Sorrell also placed third in the 800 in 2:27.25. Fane won in 2:21.04. East Newton's Jaylen Hayward placed sixth in 2:36.25.
Kinsey Sorrell qualified for state in the 3,200 in 12:10.42, finishing five seconds ahead of Buffalo's Shelby Jackson. Fatima sophomore Brianna Haller won the race in 11:43.92 and Ava's Bailey Ray took second in 11:46.70.
The 4x800 of Emily Sorrell, Kinsey Sorrell, Hayward and Brytni Logan finished second in 10:12.40. Fatima won the event in 10:10.41.
Brynne Smith, a sophomore, qualified for state with a fourth in the triple jump, recording a mark of 33-9 1/4. Cuba's Aurora Pfeiffer won at 34-5.
Grace Aulick placed seventh in the high jump with a height of 4-8. Liberty-Mountain View's Jordan Owens cleared a winning height of 5-4.
Bailee Collins placed seventh in the pole vault with a mark of 7-0. Eldon's Rachel Leffert won with a mark of 9-3.
Aulick and Collins are both freshmen.
The Seneca Lady Indians and their trio of freshmen found at least two of the three continuing her season onto the state meet.
Kaitlynn Massey finished second in the 100 in 12.71, placed right between two freshmen, Osage's Cecilia Verslues in 12.65 and Mount Vernon's Dannie Wilson in 12.74.
Massey also earned another individual spot at state with a third in the 400 in 1:01.16. Seneca's Chantel Thiel just missed on state, taking fifth in 1;03.17. Buffalo's Taylor Faulkner finished between Massey and Thiel, fourth in 1:02.28.
Taylor Mailes qualified for state with a fourth in the long jump, recording a leap of 14-7 1/4. Fatima's Hailey Buscher won at 16-5 1/2.
Chaney Platner just missed out on state, placing fifth in the discus at 101-9. Blair Oaks freshman Annette Peterson took fourth at 104-1.
Mailes and Massey also helped the 4x200 qualify for state with a fourth place time of 1:49.14. Mailes and Mailes will be joined by lead Adron Durman and anchor Thiel. Mount Vernon won the race in 1:47.83.
On the boys side, East Newton's Dustin McDermott qualified for state with a clearance of 6-2. Hollister's Kyle Kapella won at 6-4.
Tyler Winsauer missed on state, taking fifth in the long jump at 19-8 1/2. Osage's Hayden Drace finished fourth at 19-11 1/2. Owensville's Devon Ridenhour won at 20-10 1/2.
The 4x200 of Nathanyal Wall, Bryant Logan, McDermott and Winsauer placed fifth in 1:34.44, a second behind fourth place and final state qualifier Fair Grove. Reeds Spring won in 1:30.52.
Seneca's Gus Spence placed sixth in the 200 in 23.99. Mountain Grove's Trystan Short took fourth in 23.29. Reeds Spring's Korey Robinette won in 22.57.
Nate Williams finished eighth in the discus at 123-2. Blair Oaks' Kaleb Cox took fourth at 140-5. Osage's Charles Kempf won at 153-4.
