The Neosho/Newton County Library got loud and rowdy for a time during a summer youth reading program Tuesday morning as entertainer/storyteller Will Stuck got the young audience fired up with song, activities and exercise. Top photo, Stuck leads the children in an engaging and physical song; lett, he reads off a winning door prize number as Carrie Cline, library director watches the expressions on children’s face. Bottom right, smiles were in abundance as Stuck, from St. Joseph, led them in song and activities. The special program was called “Hoopla! Stories and Songs to Make You Wiggle and Giggle.” Participants got physical with push-up, sit-up and jumping jacks.
