A wide selection of books ranging from bestselling mainstream novels, romance novels, cookbooks, history, psychology, sociology, health, art, reference books, dictionaries and more are all available during the annual Friends of the Lee Library Sale on the Neosho Crowder College Campus.

A wide selection of books ranging from bestselling mainstream novels, romance novels, cookbooks, history, psychology, sociology, health, art, reference books, dictionaries and more are all available during the annual Friends of the Lee Library Sale on the Neosho Crowder College Campus.
Both DVD and VHS movies are also available. The sale is in the Wright Conference Center on the second floor of Farber Hall and will continue until 2 p.m. Thursday.
“All monies go to the Friends of the Library and are donated to benefit the library on campus,” Eric Deatherage, Lee Library director said. “We have a mural (in Farber Hall) that was created last year from the donations from the book sale.”  
Proceeds from the annual book sale will be donated by the Friends of the Library to provide new materials and equipment for the Bill and Margot Lee Library at Crowder.
Paperbacks sell for 50- cents and hardback books are $1.  VHS and cassettes are 50-cents and DVDs are $2. Specialty books are priced as marked.
On the last day of the sale, the bargains will be even better.
“On Thursday, buyers can fill a bag with books for just a dollar,” Robin Wolven, Access Librarian said.
The sale opens at 8 a.m. today and Thursday and will remain open until 6:30 p.m. today. On Thursday, the sale ends at 2 p.m. and the campus closes at 3 p.m. for Easter weekend.
The Friends of the Lee Library’s purpose is to encourage and assist in the maintenance and further development of the library and library services at Crowder College.   
Annual membership for the group is $3 for students, $10 for individuals, $15 for families and $50 for businesses and organizations.
