Skateland of Neosho is hosting a pet adoption event in conjunction with the Faithful Friends Animal Advocates (FFAA) on Saturday.

Skateland of Neosho is hosting a pet adoption event in conjunction with the Faithful Friends Animal Advocates (FFAA) on Saturday.  
Although the event was rained out last weekend, it's scheduled for Saturday, weather permitting, from 1:30 until 4 p.m. at Skateland, 1297 North Business Highway 71. Dogs and cats from the FFAA shelter will be on hand and ready for adoption. An application must be completed and approved before adoptions can take place. Adoption fees are also required.  
In addition to the scheduled event, adoption hours at the FFAA shelter are from noon until 4 p.m. on Sundays, noon until 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday.  Some of the available pets can be viewed on the FFAA website.
Several upcoming events are planned. A social night will be held at the adoption center, 11281 Missouri Highway 86, on Monday, May 1 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.   A FFAA Lockup is scheduled for Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the adoption center.  Six local citizens will be locked up and donations will be required to bail them out of jail!  
Volunteers for the adoption center, thrift store, adoption events, and more are needed.  Details and an application can also be found on the FFAA website.
