The weather might have been hot on Saturday during the Celebrate Neosho event at the Neosho Airport, but it was hotter to see some amazing cars run down the runway.
"It will be a blast, (running down the runway) we are excited, we are going to run up to 200 mph legally, I am good," said Bryan Huff, who was getting ready to drive his 2017 Lamborghini convertible, twin turbo.
Huff is a member of the Kansas City Exotic Super Car Group and they participated in the Saturday afternoon show.
"I have always bene a Lamborghini lover, my entire life," said Huff. "This is actually the fourth one that we own, older ones to the newer ones. I have such a love and a appreciation for them. When I was a kid, I had the old Lamborghini Countach poster on my wall and from there on, it was history. I was excited, I never thought I would own one, now I have several."
His green Lamborghini caught the eyes of several onlookers prior to the show.
"We have about 450 members. We do about 30 events annually," said Huff about the group. "It is fun because it is a bunch of car enthusiasts with all sorts of different cars."
Asked how it feels to drive 200-plus mph, Huff said, "it is a rush, it is a blast. Fun is a light word for it."
And the cost for his  Lamborghini?
"They are around $450,000," he said. "It is an expensive hobby. (However), the 1980s version are going for $1 million."
Huff said he and the group were pleased to be at the Neosho Airport.
"This is a clean, nice airport, love the city, love the place we are staying (Indigo Sky Casino), it has been great," he said. "We are sure excited."
