A mild October day with sunny skies and changing leaves set the scene for the 6th Annual Farming With Horses Event on Saturday. Located on a gravel road between Neosho and Granby, the event took place on the Rambo Farm, a Missouri Century Farm operating with the same family since 1886.
It could have been a scene from Little House on The Prairie or a pioneer erawith farm draft horses performing a variety of farming tasks including plowing.
Wagon and buggy rides were also available along with a variety of food and entertainment.
There were also some blacksmiths on duty.
Visitors were able to walk around the farm and watch activities from the past happening all around the vintage farmhouse and traditional big red barn.
The event is held annually and open to anyone who would like to experience a little piece of the past in the 21st century Ozarks.
