Treva Janelle Graham Mincieli, 88, died peacefully on February 21, 2019. She graduated with a diploma in nursing as a registered nurse in 1951 from Kansas City General Hospital School of Nursing. Treva worked in numerous nursing positions at physicians’ offices and hospitals. She also served as a nursing instructor in the practical nursing program at Crowder Junior College in Neosho, Missouri. Additionally, she served as an industrial/occupational health nurse at two large manufacturing companies in metropolitan Tulsa. After her retirement, Treva began providing home health nursing through the Visiting Nurse Association. As a faithful believer in Christ, Treva was always engaged in her church and Bible study activities. Additionally, she enjoyed cooking, singing, playing Bridge with friends, and traveling. Treva was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, John Mincieli of Broken Arrow, her parents, six siblings, and her first husband and father of her children, William (Bill) Scholes of Granby, Missouri. Treva is survived by her children Lisa Scholes Marsellis (Lyle) of Broken Arrow, Peggy Scholes Nikkel (Lynn) of Collinsville, and David Scholes (Cathy) of London, Arkansas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. A graveside service will be held on March 2, 2019, 12:30pm, at Hazel Green Cemetery in Boulder City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to Oklahoma Methodist Manor, 4134 E 31st St, Tulsa, OK 74135, for the excellent care given to Treva.
