A grand-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Tuesday

24/7 access is becoming more common for gyms and other fitness facilities. By popular demand, the Freeman Southwest Family YMCA in Neosho now offers 24-hour access for members. To celebrate becoming a 24-hour facility, the Y will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, March at 1 p.m.

Most areas of the facility will be open 24/7, eliminating the excuse there's no time to work out.

The pool, however, won't be open around the clock.

Members need to sign a waiver before being granted key card access near the front door.

On Tuesday, those who aren't members but would like to be can check into some special pricing to celebrate.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, tours of the facility will be available to showcase all that the Y has to offer members.

In order to go 24/7, the Y made some improvements that include the addition of some cameras, outdoor and electronic key access, a restroom and a few IT upgrades.

The community is invited to come out for the grand opening event which will take place on Tuesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. at the Southwest Freeman Family YMCA, located at 4701 Chouteau Avenue, Nesoho, adjacent to Crowder College.
