The April General Election results (unofficial) are in for Neosho. A light voter turnout - approximately 1% of the city's population turned out to cast their ballots on Tuesday.
In the race for two seats on the Neosho Board of Education, the two incumbents, Stuart Puckett and Jonathan Russell were the winners, with 559 votes for Puckett and 457 for Russell. Kevin Butler ranked third with 341 votes while David K. Steele received 331 votes.
City council incumbent William Doubek was re-elected and Angela Thomas, appointed earlier this year to fill a seat left vacant by Ben Baker, who is now the 160th district state representative won a seat. Doubek received 436 votes and Thomas 415 votes. Robb Birch came in third with 303 votes.
A proposed fair use tax measure failed by a narrow margin with 335 votes against and 320 for the proposal.
