•Relay For Life Bingo night will be held on Friday, July 19 beginning at 7 p.m. at Indian Springs Brewing Company on the Neosho Square. It costs $10 to play with proceeds going to Relay For Life. Prizes will be given so come have fun and raise money for a great cause. Indian Springs Brewing Company is located at 109 East Main Street on the Neosho Square.

•MickeyDee's Meats, prepared by Mickey Sandford, a Neosho High School counselor, will be offering his smoked meats to the public for the first time on Saturday, July 20 from 10:30 until 1 p.m. or when he runs out of product. Baby back ribs by the rack and smoked meats by weight will be offered. MickeyDee's Meat will be at Mitchell's Drug Store, located at 719 South Neosho Boulevard, in the parking lot behind the store.

Grab the kids, the lawn chairs, and your appetite and join us this Saturday for street tacos served (for a price) from El Taco Loco.
The annual aviation pilgrimage to the big, annual EAA AirVenture 2019 air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is underway and lots of pilots and enthusiasts from around the country make the Neosho airport a popular pit stop on their trip.
The public is invited to join us for tacos and hang out on the lawn for a chance to see a variety of these planes landing and taking off as they stop for fuels and tacos of their own.
The event is Saturday from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. at Neosho's Hugh Robinson Memorial Airport, located at 1400 Terry Johnson Drive south of Neosho.
•Moon Landing Memories will be held at the Neosho-Newton County Library on Saturday at 1 p.m. Everyone is invited to discuss and share memories of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing that took place on July 20, 1969, fifty years ago. Everyone is welcome and the event is free.
•Mystery Author to hold book signing on Saturday.Thomas S. Mulvaugh, area mystery writer, will hold a book signing at the Barry County History Museum in Cassville, MO on Saturday, July 20 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Copies of his Ozark Blood mystery series including the latest release, Blood Covenant of the Sergeants Club, will be available for purchase. The novel is set in the area, including the Crowder College Campus and Neosho.

•Merideth Sisco will present a program, "The Old Ozarks" at 2 p.m. at the Pineville Community Center on Sunday, July 21. The event is sponsored by the Mc Donald County Historical Society.Author, Merideth Sisco is most well known as the singer and music consultant for the Oscar-nominated film "Winter's Bone”. She is the lead singer in the "Blackberry Winter Band.This event is free. Everyone is invited. There will be light refreshments and door prizes.The Pineville Community Center is located at 602 Jesse James Road in Pineville, Missouri.
