The remains have been tentatively identified as Jessica McCormack, 25, of Noel.

A body discovered July 29 in McDonald County has been tentatively identified as Jessica McCormack, 25, of Noel, Missouri.

On Thursday, the McDonald County Sheriff's Department announced they had strong evidence that the body is that of McCormack. Formal and final identification is pending until dental records and DNA samples are confirmed. The department confirmed they have a DNA sample from a family member for comparison and are in the process of getting dental comparison X-rays.

Her body was found along Highway 59 near Noel, in close proximity to a suitcase.

Friends reported that McCormack was last seen in mid-July. Initial concerns about the whereabouts of her three children ended when the children were located safe and unharmed.

The last time witnesses reported seeing McCormack with her children was on July 3.

The children are 4-year old Siah Casillas, 20 month old Saidah Noor and 7-month old Intisar Mahamed.
