Leslie R. Pettit, former Neosho resident, died on October 4th. He was 91. Leslie graduated from what is now Missouri State University with a teaching degree. He and his wife, Patricia, moved to Neosho in 1957, with him taking an office manager position at W. L. Bond Buick. In 1976 he purchased full ownership of the Buick dealership and operated it until 1980 when it was sold. He remained in the automobile business until his retirement, when he and Patricia moved to Arizona. He had lived in Tulsa, OK, since 2013, and attended South Tulsa Baptist Church. Leslie was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years. He and Patricia had one son, Gary, and one grandson, John.
