As the search continues for the person or persons who skinned a beagle alive last month in Neosho, the reward money continues to increase. On Friday, the Neosho Police Department issued a press release stating that thanks to numerous generous donations, the local reward money is now at $15,000.

This reward is in addition to another $15,000 reward offered by the National Humane Society for a total of $30.000.

According to the police department, detectives continue to work leads but the number of actual leads has been low.

"The Neosho Police Department would like to thank everyone for their support," Lt. Jason Baird, NPD, said. "We will continue to diligently work investigative leads as we receive them."

Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest and conviction in this case is asked to contact the Neosho Police Department.
