Rembrandt Foods, an Iowa-based egg producer and processor has notified employees that its' Neosho,Missouri facility will close by mid- June 2020. Based on the competitive global egg market, Rembrandt Foods has decided to close its Neosho Missouri facility and transfer those production operations to Rembrandt, Iowa. “We value all of our employees and the decision to close the Neosho facility has been a difficult one” said Paul Hardy, President of Rembrandt Foods.
Rembrandt’s human resources team will work with employees to make this transition as smooth as possible. “Rembrandt Foods is dedicated to working closely with our employees to minimize personal impact to employees and their families” said Sheila Hagen, VP of Human Resources and Legal.
Investments are being made in the Rembrandt, Iowa plant to increase capacity as well as increase processing efficiency. Rembrandt Foods remains committed to continuing to provide high quality egg products to customers both during and after this transition.
Rembrandt Foods is currently located at 409 South Wood Street in Neosho.
