James Eugene Beaver passed away at home in Diamond, with family by his side, on May 20, 2020, at the age of 89.  James was born at home, November 19, 1930, one of seven children to Floyd and Pearl (Francisco) Beaver.  James was a lifelong resident of the area and is remembered for his strong work ethic and love for his family. He worked 15 years at Boeing, and 21 years with Teledyne, retiring in early 1990’s.  He was well known by the community for being a local farmer.  He raised crops, herded cattle and everything in-between, often commenting “he loved it all”.   As a young man, he hauled milk on a flatbed truck and caught the eye of his sweetheart, Georgia (Kimbrough) with lifting a full milk container in each hand and loading them on the truck the same way.  James and Georgia married June 16, 1950 and shared nearly 70 years together.  They raised 4 children, Janice, Janette, Douglas and Janiece.  James was a member of Silver Moon Full Gospel Church, Neosho, and enjoyed gospel and bluegrass music. In addition, he enjoyed quail hunting, playing pool and admiring all types of mechanical machines from shiny classic cars to state of the art farm equipment.   James is survived by his wife Georgia, his children Janice J. Crowder of Diamond, Missouri, Janette Coneby and husband Gary of Granby, Missouri, Douglas Eugene Beaver and wife Nina of Diamond, Missouri and Janiece Siebert and husband Mike of Carthage, Missouri; two sisters, Sharon Kaye Myers and husband Carroll of Neosho, Missouri and Lorene Simpson of Granby, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Ward, three brothers Marvin, Donnie and Junior Beaver; and two grandchildren Brian Crowder and Matthew Siebert.  Family and Friends may call at the Clark Funeral home Neosho, on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 5-7 pm for Visitation.  Funeral services will be Wednesday May 27, 2020 at 2pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho.  Pastor David Beaver will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Diamond Cemetery.  For those wishing to honor James and his memory, contributions may be made to Watered Gardens, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, Missouri 64850
