Wanda Carol Bills

Wanda Carol Bills, 75, of Neosho, Missouri, was called to heaven on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
She began her journey on November 12, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Alfred and Dorothy (Abney) Mitchell. Wanda was united in marriage to Reverend David William Bills on June 6, 1964 at the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Festus, Missouri and to this union three daughters were born. She worked as an Administrative assistant for Wal-Mart for 23 years. She was also a teacher and a pastor’s wife. With her husband, Wanda served the Lord at the many churches he pastored in the three-state area ~ Assembly of God, Fristoe, Missouri; Assembly of God, Webb City, Missouri; Full Gospel Tabernacle in Illinois; Assembly of God in Noel, Missouri; Lighthouse Holiness Church in Pineville, Missouri and Victory Assembly of God in Neosho, Missouri. She was a faithful member of Bible Holiness Assembly of God Church in Neosho, Missouri. Wanda lived for her family and serving others. She will be remembered as a faithful servant, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend and neighbor. Wanda touched many lives throughout her life and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend David William Bills; her parents; sister, Janet Chilton and a brother, Jim Mitchell.
Wanda is survived by her three daughters, Mary Jackson and husband, Rodney of Neosho, Missouri, Cheri McMullin and husband, Randy of Goodman, Missouri, Aleta Evans and husband, Robert of Neosho, Missouri; two brothers, Oliver “Buddy” Mitchell of Bismark, Missouri, Charlie Mitchell of Farmington, Missouri; two sisters, Aleta Kyle of Herculaneum, Missouri, Charlotte Maples of Republic, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Jordan, Steven Jordan, Raymond Jackson, Felicia Murphy, Hillary McMullin, Ryan McMullin, Ryler Evans and Alexandra Ennis; five great grandchildren, Audie Murphy, Faith Murphy, David Murphy, Alaina Murphy and Adalai Ennis; as well as a host of family, friends and neighbors who will dearly miss Wanda and her strong faith.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Bible Holiness Assembly of God Church in Neosho, Missouri. Pastor Daniel Taylor, Ryler Evans and Chris Klock will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the Oakwood Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Bible Holiness Assembly of God Church in Neosho, Missouri.
