Shirley Ann Daugherty, 72, of Seneca died April 15, 2016.
She was born Dec. 26, 1943, in Rogers, Ark., the daughter of Ray and Edith (Bodeen) Briley.
Shirley worked in production for Sunbeam Outdoor Products in Neosho for many years. She was a Crowder College graduate and wrote poetry, which was published in the Crowder magazine The Quill and also in Reader’s Digest.
She loved flowers and birds and was a member of Living Waters Fellowship in Stark City.
Shirley married Jack Daugherty. He preceded her in death Nov. 13, 2013.
She is survived by three children, Sherry (Roger) Eberle, Donald Ray (Susie) Bradley and Bobbi Cox, all of Neosho; two stepsons, Jackie Daugherty of Joplin and Jason Daugherty of Neosho; two brothers, Jerry Briley and Bob Briley of Joplin; and six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cindy Mae Bradley; and son, Bill Bradley.
The body has been cremated. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
