Jerry G. Woods, 67, Neosho, entered into eternal rest on June 6, 2017, following an extended illness.  
Jerry was born March 10, 1950, in Stella, the son of Wm. Glen and Billie (Ball) Woods. He was a lifelong area resident and had worked at Pet Milk until it’s closing and then in the metal shop at La-Z-Boy, retiring in 2011. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and creating horseshoe crosses and giving them away. He was a member of the Cornerstone Bible Church.  
Jerry and Tonda Kay (Steffan) were married on Aug. 24, 1969, in Neosho and she preceded him in death on July 5, 2010.  
He is survived by two children, Kerrie Bertrand and Jason Woods and wife, Heather, Neosho; two sisters, Fleeta Mason, Rogersville, Mo. and Judy Noah and husband, Dan, Neosho; father-in-law, Eddie Steffan, Neosho; sister-in-law, Cindy Schwartz and husband, Gene, Neosho; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Margaret Ann Noah Bond and great niece, Randen Dee Bond.  
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Cornerstone Bible Church, Rev. Terry Swagerty will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Gibson Cemetery.
