Dorothy Crowder, 79, Aurora, entered into rest April 14, 2018.  
She was born Feb. 18, 1939 in Jenkins, Mo., to Marion and Emma Clio (Mattox) Henson. Dorothy retired in 2001 as a secretary for Crowder Industries.  She was a member of Belfast Baptist Church in Neosho; she enjoyed being with the Church, helping with social events.  She also loved the outdoors, singing, sewing, and making her own designer clothing.
Dorothy married Clifford Crowder in Aurora, on Oct. 14, 1956; he preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 2007.  
She is survived by one son, Mickey D. Crowder and wife, Deborah, Lititz, Penn.; one sister, Lee Williams-Schmidt and husband, Pete, Aurora; two grandchildren, Christopher Crowder, New York City and Timothy Crowder and wife, Jayme, Lititz, Penn.; and two great grandchildren, Rowan and Reese Crowder.  In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was  preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Jean Henson.
Services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Clark Chapel of Memories, Neosho, with Rev. Jim Jones officiating.  Visitation will be held Wed. prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m.  Interment will follow at Seneca Cemetery.
