The Crowder Lady Rough-riders demolished Three Rivers 26-2 Sunday afternoon, winning respective games 16-0 and 10-0 on the Lady Raiders.
Crowder, 36-13 overall and 8-2 Region 16, returns home Wednesday against Neosho County.
In the opener, Crowder scored two in the first and seven each in the third and fourth to force a shortened game by three innings. Three Rivers collected five hits but also committed five errors, helping out the Lady ’Riders with their 13 hits.
Courtni Smith scored two runs and collected two RBI despite an official 0-for-4 line, while Paige Mendoza, Lauren Nahnsen, Bethany Doty and Megan Heman each drove in two runs. Heman, Mac Escovedo and Mendoza each had two hits.
Bree Cornett earned the win, allowing five hits over four innings of work. She struck out two and walked one.
In the first, Crowder went to work with two outs, Escovedo starting the rally with a single. Mendoza worked a walk for two runners on and they advanced 60 feet on a passed ball, setting up two RBI for Heman and No. 20 delivered with a single.
After a quiet second inning, Crowder erupted in the third and fourth.
Bailey Bunch led off the third with a hit by pitch. She stole second and advanced to third on a passed ball. Escovedo walked and then Mendoza’s two-run double scored Bunch and courtesy runner Jessica Picou, who was running for Escovedo. The Lady ’Riders connected with two more two-run doubles in the third, one by Nahnsen and one by Doty. Doty scored the final run of the frame.
Heman led off the Crowder fourth with a single and the bases became loaded after Nahnsen reached on a fielder’s choice and Doty walked. Heman scored on an error. Nahnsen scored on a Smith’s fielder choice, her second RBI fielder’s choice in as many innings. Doty scored on an error. Lizzy Souza hit a RBI single. Cayla McDowell came through with a RBI double. With the bases loaded, Danielle Salas took one for the team and another Crowder run.
The offensive barrage continued in the second game, as Crowder scored two each in the first, second and fifth, plus one in the third and three in the fourth. Three Rivers managed only single runs in the first and fourth.
The game and sweep ended in dramatic fashion, as Bunch inside-the-park two-run home run gave the Lady ’Riders an eight-run lead for the walk-off win.
Bunch enjoyed a great contest, with three hits, three runs scored and five RBI.  Two of her three hits were inside-the-park homers and for as rare as it is to see an inside-the-park home run in a college game, it must be phenomenally rare for two. Bunch also singled and had a sacrifice bunt, leg work not as involved.
In the Crowder first, Smith hit a leadoff double and moved to third on Bunch’s bunt. Doing the fundamental things right, Smith scored on an Escovedo sacrifice fly. With two outs, Mendoza walked, Heman singled and Mendoza scored on a Doty single.
Coley Ickes reached on a fielder’s choice in the second and scored on the first of Bunch’s two inside-the-park homers, this one with two outs.
Crowder’s only run in the third came on a Doty single plating Mendoza.
Smith led off the fourth with a triple and scored on a Bunch single. Heman’s two-run triple scored Bunch and Mendoza for a 8-2 lead headed into the fifth.
