CHANUTE, Kan. — The Crowder Roughriders dropped to 3-3-1 overall and 0-2-1 in overtime
matches this season with a 2-1 loss Tuesday night against Neosho County (Kansas).

Evandro Conceição gave Crowder a 1-0 lead with the only goal of the first half, scoring on a
penalty kick past Neosho County goalkeeper Hugo Blanckaert.

Neosho County’s Leonardo Araujo scored both Panther goals, one at the 55-minute mark of the
second half and then at the 98-minute mark or eight minutes into overtime.

Neosho County took 20 shots overall — nine in the first half, 10 in the second, and just one in
overtime, which turned out to be Araujo’s goal.

Crowder took 13 shots overall with four in the first half, six in the second, and three in overtime.
Crowder goalie Andres Aldaco made five saves and Blanckaert made eight.

Neosho County took 10 corner kicks and Crowder four, while Neosho County committed 22
fouls and Crowder nine.

Crowder stands at 3-0-1 at home and 0-3 away, and the ‘Riders make a trip to Union for a
Region 16 match Sunday against East Central. Crowder and East Central play at noon Sunday.
East Central heads into the match 5-2 overall.
