LONE JACK — The Diamond Wildcats swept three opponents on Tuesday night, taking down Lone Jack 43-15, Guadalupe Centers Charter 66-6, and St. Michael the Archangel 58-18.

Against Lone Jack, Diamond’s Cody Behler (145 pounds) pinned Jordan Hubbard in 2 minutes, 28 seconds, Landon Clement (152) pinned Sam McSpadden in 1:37, Simon Burke (182) and Daniel Calentine (195) each won by forfeit, Justin McGough (285) won a 10-0 major decision against Austin Lauer, Austin Behler (120) won a 17-2 tech fall against Riley Wooten, Kolbe Jones (126) won a 12-1 major against Jackson Leath, and John Odom (132) won by forfeit.

Lone Jack’s Triston Barnett pinned Ty Douglas in 54 seconds, Justin Leath (220) pinned Owen Gray in 3:48, and Ben Janssen (138) won a 5-0 decision against Cameron Addington.

Neither team fielded a wrestler at 106, 113, and 170.

Against Guadalupe Centers Charters, forfeit was the story, as Diamond earned all 66 points by forfeit and Guadalupe Centers picked up all six points by forfeit. Yes, no matches were wrestled.

Against St. Michael, Addington (138), Douglas (160), Gray (220), McGough (285), and Odom (132) each won by fall, the quartet of Clement (152), Calentine (195), Austin Behler (120), and Jones (126) each won by forfeit, and Cody Behler (145) won a 13-3 major against Ellis Edwards.

St. Michael’s Noland Boyer (182) pinned Simon Burke and Jack Gearhart (106) and David Maschger (113) each won by forfeit.

Diamond returns to action Friday and Saturday in the 56th annual Seneca Tournament.
