CARL JUNCTION — The Neosho Wildcats closed out an unbeaten dual season on Thursday with a sweep of Central Ozark Conference foes Carl Junction (69-12) and Ozark (73-0).

On the night, Neosho won every match it wrestled, since Carl Junction’s only points came on Neosho forfeits at 170 and 285 pounds.

Against Carl Junction, Drayke Perry (182) pinned Hunter Row in 1 minute, 55 seconds, Caleb Elliott (195) won a 3-2 decision against Noah Southern, Zane Persinger (220) pinned Jesse Cassatt in 5:33, and then came nine more Neosho pins, all in a row: Landon Kivett (106) took down Gage Gordon in 1:09, Hayden Crane (113) pinned Kevin Cox in 46 seconds, Gabriel Selby (120) pinned Lucas Watkins in 1:12, Cayden Auch (126) pinned Ethan Walker in 51 seconds, Kolton Sanders (132) pinned Silas Walker in 1:52, Bret Camerer (138) pinned Philipp Leithaeuser in 1:19, Braxton Barnes (145) pinned Cole Stewart in 1:35, Alec Rothman (152) pinned Dalton Honey in 1:47, and Keaton Sanders (160) rounded out nine falls in a row by taking down Isiac Shields in 2:33.

Against Ozark, Keaton Sanders pinned Colby Allen in 1:31, Perry (182) won a 21-4 tech fall against Braegan Patman, Elliott (195) won by forfeit, Persinger (220) pinned Luke Hulse, Kivett (106) pinned Adam Hofer in 2:48, Crane (113) pinned Jordan Hurst in 1:51, Selby (120) won a 11-6 decision against Wyatt Snyder, Auch (126) won a 26-11 tech fall against Clayton Moison, Kolton Sanders (132) pinned Elijah Maskrod in 3:10, Camerer (138) pinned Riley Newsom in 1:05, Noah Reiboldt (145) won by forfeit, Barnes (152) pinned Kaleb Doyle in 43 seconds, and Rothman (160) rounded it out with a pin of Kale Conway in 4:40.

Neosho returned to action Saturday in the Central Ozark Conference tournament at Ozark, looking for its seventh conference title in a row.

The Wildcats then have district and state tournament competition remaining for their season.
