WEBB CITY — One Madison Flynn free throw and two Maile Gindling free throws.

That’s all the Neosho Lady Wildcats scored in the second half Tuesday night in their 67-19 loss to the Webb City Lady Cardinals at the Cardinal Dome.

Neosho trailed 33-16 at halftime — 17-9 first quarter, 16-7 second — before Webb City turned on the jets to leave Neosho in the dust.

Flynn, making her return to the lineup after being out for a couple games, led the Lady Wildcats with six points and Mary Dunbar added five, Olivia Hixson and Michelle Lindsay three each, and Gindling two. Neosho failed to score more than 25 points for the fifth straight game, all losses, and three of those losses have found Neosho under 20 on the scoreboard.

Flynn led Neosho with five rebounds, while Lindsay grabbed four rebounds and Dunbar picked up three assists and two steals.

Neosho committed 26 turnovers.

Keira Jackson led Webb City with 13 points, Madeline Hayes and Abby Brownfield each had 11 points on Senior Night, and Jaydee Duda rounded out the double-figure scorers with 10 points.

Neosho dropped to 6-16 overall and 0-7 Central Ozark Conference entering Thursday’s game against Nixa, perennially one of the best teams in the conference and a thorn in the side of the Neosho girls the previous four seasons.

Webb City, meanwhile, improved to 10-12 overall and 3-4 COC.
