PARK HILLS — The Crowder Lady Roughriders took a 58-38 loss Monday night to Mineral Area in a makeup Region 16 contest.
Mineral Area outscored Crowder 32-16 in the second and fourth quarters, and that helped send Crowder to 12-16 overall and 3-5 in Region 16 play entering Wednesday’s road game against Moberly. Crowder stood at 4-8 in road games before taking on Moberly.
On an offensively challenged night, when Crowder shot 12 for 53 (22.6 percent) from the field and never scored more than 11 points in any quarter, Elle Williams led Crowder with 14 points and she was the only Lady ‘Rider in double figures.
