CARTHAGE — The Neosho Wildcats’ season came to a complete end with individual districts in Class 2, District 12 competition Friday at Carthage.

Julian Henderson and Dylan McNeill won one doubles match, defeating Willard’s tandem of Wilkins and Jeremy Long 6-0, 6-0. Henderson-McNeill then lost 6-0, 6-0 against Republic’s Isaac Jordan-William Berry.

In singles competition, Carter Abbott lost 6-0, 6-3 to Webb City’s Jackson Dill and Melvin Lopez lost 6-0, 6-1 to Republic’s McMillan.

Conner Burghart-Matt Houk lost 6-3, 6-1 to Republic’s Jack Cook-Thane in their only match.

No Neosho players advanced to sectionals. Joplin’s Garret Lewis and Carthage’s Adam Theis are the singles players and Joplin’s Asa Borup-Kaden Seward and Republic’s Jordan-Berry are the doubles teams that qualified for sectionals.
