Newton County has administered more than 15,821 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, as of May 11, according to data from the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services.
That's up 3% from the previous week's tally of 15,297 COVID-19 doses administered.

The five areas with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in Missouri as of May 11 are Boone County (39%), St. Charles County (35%), Joplin (34%), Atchison County (34%) and Gasconade County (32%).
