Since Monday, 6,258 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Missouri. For the fourth consecutive day, Missouri again broke previous records with an increase of 1,652 cases from Thursday in the state. Prior to this week, the record number had not been over 958.

This week's numbers are four times greater than the number of COVID-19 cases reported during the week of April 6, the week that Governor Mike Parson announced the stay at home order and closed schools throughout Missouri.
